On Saturday, April 28th I hosted the 1st Annual Monteith Place Eat in the Street. This was a time for all the neighbors at Monteith Place to get together to eat, socialize and wins lots of great prizes. I would like to thank the following businesses that donated giftcards for this events:

I would like to thank everyone who helped to make Sundaes on Sunday a great success. With the help of Beazer Homes, MegArt, Schwann's Ice Cream, and everyone who made a "Helping Hands" tile, we were able to raise hundreds of dollars to donate to the Lake Norman Animal Shelter.

On Saturday, July 21st, I held a FUNdraiser for the North Mecklenburg Animal Shelter at the Keller Williams office in Cornelius. With the help of Becca Sadri and MegArt Pottery, we were able to raise over $6000 in just four hours!!! Your tile will be a forever reminder that you played an important part in making the plans for the local shelter a reality. On Saturday, October 20, I hosted a garage sale for Monteith Place. I just want to thank everyone braved the cold weather. I hope that it was a success and that the doughnuts and coffee made it a little more bearable. :)
